Who We Are

ADHD Awearness began when a scientist's partner was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult.

The diagnosis was an epiphany. It explained decades of experiences that had been misread, misunderstood, or simply endured. But epiphanies come with a cost — this one unearthed years of emotional pain alongside the clarity. That's what a late diagnosis does. It gives you answers and a grief to go with them.

Two scientists. One diagnosis. A lot to learn, and a determination to be honest about all of it — the new understanding and the frustration, the relief and the weight of what came before.

Not a superpower narrative. Not an awareness campaign. Just an honest attempt to understand ADHD, support the people living with it, and put real resources behind the organizations doing actual work.

That's where this started. Everything since — the designs, the science content, the nonprofit donations — comes from that place.
